Last time Koji played for us in Nottingham, we just fell in love with life and the house show that happened afterwards is one of my most favourite memories. They really were awesome on Thursday. And they were such nice guys as well. I am very tempted to go to the Leeds show now. I’ve become such a fan of the more serious, more technical and gruff sounding punk rock recently. Music that doesn’t have to always be racing 100 mph and be saturated with melodies and hooks to be interesting. Mid-tempo music that can speak for itself, you know? Don’t get me wrong, I love all of the above but it’s so refreshing when you come across bands like these. And Make Do And Mend really are great.
