Koji at the house show in Nottingham last night.
What I gathered was the home owners friend (?) was on skype in the corner all night haha. Shouting out requests etc…

Hudson & Tilly had to be a part of this. Even in Canada they can’t turn down a koji house show.

This night was incredible. The fact that we could still have Sarah and Hudson be part of the show despite them now being in Vancouver made me very happy. They’ve done so much for Nottingham in terms of putting shows on and it wouldn’t be right without them there.

The bands were wonderful. Starters’ set really was amazing. Got to hear Evan play Portland, Or which is a song I am very much obsessed with. The gig was packed from very early on which was so great to see. Koji, Starters & Evan were kind enough to play for us again at the house show after the gig despite how late it was. All the guys in the bands are such great people and I cannot wait for the chance to have them back over again. It was an amazing gig and I really hope we get to put more of these on. Thanks to all the bands and all the people who came along and had a good time!

This is happening tomorrow and I am so stoked. It sounds like a lot of people are going to be there. There is so much to love about this bill.

Everyone should go see Koji once in their lives because there is no one quite like him. He writes beautiful songs, his guitar work is perfect, his voice gives you chills and he speaks of such positive things in the most eloquent of ways. He is just hopeful. You might think that all of this sounds a bit much, but it really isn’t. Trust me, you will fall in love with everything.

Evan Weiss is such a good songwriter especially when you consider the rate of song writing he achieves under the name of Into It. Over It. A release consisting of 52 songs, a song for each week for a year says it all really. There is a story behind each song which he is willing to share making it all quite real and relatable which is why you need to go see him play.
